(A Season of Service and Healing)
As the new year begins, we reflect with gratitude on an incredible journey of service the past year. Throughout November and December 2024, Nawewe, in collaboration with dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers, organized a series of free medical camps in Kibra—one of Nairobi’s most vibrant yet underserved communities.

Our mission was simple: to provide essential healthcare services, promote healthy living, and offer hope to those in need. And what an impact we made—together!

Lives Touched, Futures Brightened

Over the two months, we were privileged to serve over 800 residents, offering:
✅ General medical checkups for early disease detection.
✅ Diabetes and hypertension screenings to combat lifestyle diseases.
✅ Nutritional counseling to promote healthy, affordable diets.
✅ Eye and dental care for improved vision and oral health.
✅ Health education workshops to empower the community with preventive care knowledge.

For many, this was their first opportunity to receive professional healthcare in years. The gratitude in their eyes and the relief on their faces reaffirmed why access to healthcare is not a privilege but a right!
